Build Log 6 - Monolith Zero Development

In this episode, I made good progress on the XY gantry and the stepper mounts. The bed was also installed, but I don't like how tall these silicone spacers are. Although I've already put the gantry plates in place, but the screws weren't tightened because I wanted to see the alignment with the stepper shafts first.

With the current front and rear gantry plate geometries, it's possible to rotate and remove them without touching the steppers.

The extrusion "crown" is directly bolted to the steppers with M3x45 screws. Depending on how well we can manage the CPAP tube, we may need to increase the top hat height for the release.
