Monolith Zero Build Log

It looks like I'm finally getting my SLM parts for the M0 today, so I'll try to summarize some of the progress I haven't shown yet.

Contrary to how the K3-style belt tensioners work, we have the screw going through the moving part here. The reason is that if you glue the end of the belt to these small clips, then you can insert and tension it as a unit with a single hand using the Allen key. It made a big difference when working on such a small printer.

At the bottom electronics bay, we're fortunate enough that the 350W UHP PSUs have the perfect hole spacing for this frame and can be bolted directly to it. With the 200W units, one side is to be bolted to an adapter or to the bottom panel.

Everyone here has already seen the early prototype of the double 270° hinge. Now that's all cleaned up and integrated without interfering with the side panels.

Aesthetically, there is still a lot to do until a Beta release, which is also true for the easily removable top skirt and its mesh design.
