Now that the grooved idlers are here I wanted to do a quick follow-up with them.

As expected, the one with the 2mm groove is the best, and is the largest out of the 3 I have here with its 15.8mm OD. The groove depth is shallow enough that it doesn't come in contact with non-flat LGX gear. The one with the 3mm diameter groove can't get close enough to the drive gear.

Based on my quick tests with this printed jig it significantly reduces the unwanted deformation on the idler side letting us cut deeper into the filament while keeping the rolling resistance in check, even compared to the 21mm OD 6702 bearing.

The one perfect for our application also seems to be the highest quality one of the 3, and with the biggest balls and thickest ball races.

Because we don't know what the availability is gonna be like, I'm keeping the compatibility for any idler that's in between the 623 and the 6702. But this 15.8mm OD idler with the 2mm groove is my preferred idler for the upcoming experimental build
