Input Shaper Graphs 1 - Monolith Zero

Monolith Zero printed parts

Here's the first set of graphs from my M0 prototype after a day of tinkering. Currently, the parts designed for SLM or laser cutting are printed in very wet ASA/ABS CF, so I wasn't really expecting anything usable here.

Other details:

  • LDO 2504AH (S80) AWD @1.7A and 48V
  • 6mm GT2 belts @10 lbs
  • The first toolhead prototype without extruder or hotend internals to match the current weight target for the toolhead
  • FDM belt clamp/tensioner
  • No panels
  • The tophat crown is directly mounted to the XY steppers

The fact that it was relatively easy to get acceptable, sorta single-peak graphs with thin FDM parts is promising. I think I agree with zruncho now, it could make sense to do a printed version, especially when we're still figuring things out.

For part 2, I'll redo this with thicker FDM parts to see what happens.
