One perk of the fixed gantry rebuild is that I was able to take a clean shot of the whole gantry with the black nickel hardware installed.

To compare with the previous thermal images, I captured another series of pictures of the heatblock, this time at both the minimum and maximum fan speeds achievable by my 9290. The images were again taken at ~255°C with the chamber at ambient temperature. The first set shows minimum speed, the second is at maximum speed…

As promised, we're working on the remaining printed parts. One of the most striking features of the design is definitely the handles…

I'm also getting pretty close to a working printer. It needs a toolhead and all of the electronics that I have already tested. At this point, I think I'll wait for my SLM parts to arrive…
